Biografie
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (born April 22, 1966) is an American actor best known to television and movie audiences as Denny Duquette in the 2005 medical drama Grey's Anatomy, patriarch John Winchester on Supernatural, and as The Comedian in the 2009 superhero film Watchmen. He currently stars as Ike Evans in Magic City.
Morgan was born in Seattle, Washington, the son of Sandy Thomas and Richard Dean Morgan. He attended Ben Franklin Elementary School, Rose Hill Junior High and Lake Washington High School in the nearby smaller city of Kirkland. Morgan was a basketball player in high school and university. He was a graphic artist for a time, until he helped a friend move to Los Angeles.
Morgan was briefly engaged to his former Weeds costar, Mary-Louise Parker, in 2008 but the engagement ended in April of that year. Morgan has been in a relationship with actress Hilarie Burton since 2009. The couple welcomed a son, Augustus "Gus", in March 2010. Morgan is also father to son Dean with ex-girlfriend Sherrie Rose, learning of the child in March 2009, when Dean was four years old.
