Bruxelles, 11 septembre 2001 - Max (Pierre Lekeux) a décidé de se suicider. Il demande à son meilleur ami, Bud (Giles Daoust), de filmer sa dernière journée, pour laisser un témoignage. L'entièreté du film est vue à travers la caméra de Bud. Max traverse Bruxelles à la recherche de son passé : son patron (Dan Suijzer), qui l'opprime depuis des années ; sa femme, Carla, qui ne l'a jamais aimé. Max est entraîné dans une véritable descente aux enfers qui le confrontera plus d'une fois à la mort...
