Het vertrekpunt van de film is vrij banaal: een reis naar Rome, waar de hoofdrolspeler zijn idool wil ontmoeten, een operaster. Maar het leven is soms onvoorspelbaar, en kijk, er gebeurt iets onverwachts. Hij wordt bestolen en komt terecht in een aantal tragikomische verwikkelingen die zijn leven onherstelbaar zullen veranderen. Een uiterst ironische Griekse knipoog naar de Italiaanse cinema van de jaren zeventig!
