Marta (Rohrwacher) en Antonio (Germano) gaan uit elkaar na een triviaal ruzietje. Marta isoleert zich terwijl Antonio, een opkomend chef-kok, zich op zijn werk stort. Ondanks dat hij de relatie verbrak kan hij Marta maar niet vergeten. Als Marta ontdekt dat haar gebrek aan etenslust andere oorzaken heeft, zet dit haar leven op zijn kop.
