Kidnapping Mr. Heineken vertelt het verhaal van de meest geruchtmakende ontvoering van de 21ste eeuw met de hoogste losgeld eis die ooit is betaald in die tijd. Freddy Heineken (Hopkins) en zijn chauffeur Ab Doderer, worden in 1983 gekidnapt en vrijgelaten nadat er een bedrag van 35 miljoen gulden is betaald. Een groot deel van het losgeld is nooit terug gevonden.


