John Constantine s'adjoindra les services d'une femme policière, Angela (Rachel Weisz), qui vient de perdre sa soeur jumelle dans un mystérieux suicide, pour combattre les forces du mal.
Leur enquête les mènera dans un monde d'anges et de démons qui existe sous Los Angeles.
