In de actiekomedie 30 Minutes or Less is Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) een jongen die
pizza's bezorgt in een kleine stad. Tot zijn alledaagse leventje plots in aanvaring komt met twee zelfverklaarde criminelesuperbreinen (Danny McBride en Nick Swardson). Het dubieuze duo kidnapt Nick en dwingt hem een bank te beroven. Nick krijgt slechts enkele uren de tijd om die onmogelijke klus te klaren en gaat aankloppen bij zijn voormalige beste vriend Chet (Aziz Ansari). Terwijl de tijd onherroepelijk wegtikt, moeten beide het opnemen tegen de politie,huurmoordenaars, vlammenwerpers en hun eigen tumultueuze vriendschap.
