Arash is een Iraanse professor die in het Westen leeft. Voor een lesopdracht keert hij terug naar Chiraz, waar zijn moeder woont. Arash raakt verwikkeld in de intriges en financiële complotten binnen zijn familie. Bovendien lijkt hij de voeling met zijn vaderland te zijn kwijtgeraakt. Wanneer zijn vader overlijdt, stelt hij vast dat zijn voorname familie grote geheimen verbergt. Arash wordt verplicht om drastische keuzes te maken.
