De 13-jarige Bastien brengt zijn zomervakantie met zijn familie door in een hut aan het meer in Quebec. Daar ontmoet hij de 16-jarige Chloé, die hem verteld over een kinderlichaam dat ooit in het meer werd gevonden en het water nog steeds teistert. Ondanks het leeftijdsverschil tussen de twee, vormen de tieners een bijzondere band. Bastien is klaar om zijn angsten te overwinnen en Chloé's hart te veroveren en de vakantie wordt een turbulent cruciaal moment voor de jonge jongen.
