Hatidze woont met haar ziekelijke moeder in de bergen van Noord-Macedonië. Ze komt rond van het houden van bijen en het verkopen van de honing die ze produceren. Als een losbandige familie naast haar komt wonen, lijkt dit eerst een medicijn voor haar eenzaamheid, maar als deze familie ook bijen gaat houden en niet naar haar adviezen luistert, wordt hun aanwezigheid een bron van frustratie.
