Aymeric komt toevallig Florence, een voormalige collega, tegen tijdens een avondje uit in Saint-Claude in de Haut-Jura. Ze is zes maanden zwanger en alleenstaand. Wanneer Jim wordt geboren, is Aymeric erbij. Ze beleven samen gelukkige jaren, totdat op een dag Christophe, de biologische vader van Jim, opduikt... Dit zou het begin van een melodrama kunnen zijn, maar het is ook het begin van een odyssee van het vaderschap.


