"Les Bureaux de Dieu" schetst in een fictiefilm het reilen en zeilen in een Centrum voor Familieplanning. (Jonge) Vrouwen komen er om zich te informeren over de keuze die ze in een bepaalde situatie kunnen of moeten maken in plaats van die situatie te ondergaan. Bij alle vrouwen draait het om hun sexuele vrijheid en het moment waarop ze een kind zullen hebben of niet. Ze worden ontvangen door huwelijksconsulentes die hun job doen uit overtuiging en die vaak echte militantes zijn. In de loop van de gesprekken neemt de keuze vorm die elke vrouw zal maken en die een beslissende wending zal geven aan haar leven.
