Vanda is licenciate. Ze besluit haar leven een nieuwe wending te geven, maakt het uit met haar vriend, en vertrekt om haar oma te bezoeken op het Slovaakse platteland. Daar ontmoet ze Miro, een getrouwde man die betrokken is bij mensenhandel. Soms beginnen romantische verhalen namelijk ook slecht. Ook al is de regisseur van deze coproductie een Duitser die in India woont, toch koos Slovakije hem om het land te vertegenwoordigen op de Oscars. Kosmopolitisch.


