Simon is een verlegen man, die een geïsoleerd leven leidt in een wereld die hem niet ziet staan. Maar alles verandert wanneer James, zijn fysieke dubbelganger, bij hetzelfde bedrijf komt werken. In tegenstelling tot Simon, loopt hij over van zelfvertrouwen, is hij charismatisch en populair bij vrouwen. Simon ziet zijn nachtmerrie werkelijkheid worden als James zijn leven langzaam maar zeker overneemt.
