Alleen in Parijs, terwijl hun ouders op vakantie zijn, nodigen Isabelle (Eva Green) en haar broer Theo (Louis Garrel) de jonge Amerikaanse medestudent Matthew (Michael Pitt) uit om in hun appartement te komen logeren.
